This history is about a girl that was mutilated in Africa when she was 3 years old. How changes the life of a women when they do that. How important is physically and psychologically, and how important is go ahead and no surrender, because if you want to get something you can't give up. After she becomes a important person, she does a lot of things to avoid the Female Genital Mutilation. This history started when her friend Marilyn, welcomed her because she was sorry. But finally, they become good friends. Her life in London is strange because she doesn't understand some things of their culture. Marilyn tries to help her for understanding that. And then they are like sisters.
In my opinion, is a very reflective film. It is to think how they suffer when they do that, but above this, how they can acquire a better life.
Because if you want to arrive to the top, firstly, you have to climb.
